Two men are behind bars charged with stealing half-a-million dollars worth of Opals from an Albion Park Rail home.

Most of the gemstones were discovered in Melbourne.

The men, aged 27 and 28, were extradited to New South Wales. And will return to court in July. Police expect to make more arrests.
